Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in infrastructure or production-centric engineering roles
- Proven ability to manage projects from conception through to delivery
- Demonstrated expertise in constructing high-scale systems and advanced application services
- Strong enthusiasm for mentoring and developing junior engineers
- Proficient in Go, C++, Java, C#, or Rust
- Skilled in operating Kubernetes clusters
- Experienced in building and managing distributed systems on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and AWS
- Knowledgeable in monitoring and alerting strategies
- Extensive experience with Linux
Responsibilities
- Address complex challenges in distributed systems at massive scales
- Expand our infrastructure and architecture to align with the platform and engineering requirements
- Develop highly scalable and dependable distributed systems using Go
- Build enhancements on our architecture stack utilizing Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS
- Manage global large-scale distributed systems
- Take ownership of projects from initial concept to successful delivery, including planning and collaboration with Product teams
- Guide and uplift peers, fostering the growth of junior engineers
