Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a hands-on Core Java Software Engineer in a distributed/cloud-based product
- Familiarity with native programming languages such as Rust, Go, C/C++ is advantageous
- Understanding or experience with Agentic AI for data pipelines or data engineering is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Spring framework, Rest API, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Experience with microservices, distributed processing systems, and performance enhancement
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and processes
- Commitment to automated testing and striving for high test coverage
- Positive attitude towards problem-solving, quality assurance, and execution
- Experience with data-intensive systems is a plus
- Skilled in processing both structured and unstructured data
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience, with 9+ years or relevant military experience required.
Responsibilities
- Execute the software development strategy to enhance our dynamic, highly distributed system
- Grasp and apply software development/engineering lifecycle concepts to drive features from inception to deployment
- Collaborate closely with team members, product managers, architects, and dev-ops to ensure quality releases
- Work alongside customer support, documentation, and downstream teams to foster customer success
- Make suitable trade-offs to optimize release times while maintaining performance and scalability
- Clearly articulate goals and desired outcomes to internal project teams
