Requirements
Must:
- B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 8+ years of demonstrable expertise in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, along with a robust foundation in operating systems, networking, and distributed systems
- Experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or OCI
- Proven experience in developing large-scale SaaS solutions utilizing distributed databases and messaging systems
- Familiarity with PKI/Certificates and security principles
- Track record in designing and implementing scalable REST APIs, services, and data pipelines
- Experience addressing DevOps practices and reliability metrics for large cloud platforms
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development and CI/CD principles
- Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures (VPCs, load balancers, and firewalls in a cloud setting)
- Profound knowledge of microservices-based architectures with the capability to design services
- High energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with a proactive approach
- Experience collaborating with architects, product managers, and program managers to deliver high-quality product features on schedule
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring abilities
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design, develop, and support highly scalable software features and infrastructure on our next-generation security platform from initiation to completion
- Develop algorithms to incorporate targeted ML/AI concepts related to operations in our cloud security platform, focusing on networking and orchestration
- Write clean, testable, readable, scalable, and maintainable code that performs at scale for thousands of customers
- Lead testing efforts on critical components within the product, considering the intricate aspects of multiple platforms, performance, supportability, and maintainability
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, Quality Assurance, SRE, and Customer Support teams to execute the roadmap and enhance customer outcomes
- Thrive in a results-driven culture emphasizing execution, quality, and speed
