Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 7 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on programming expertise in Go or Java, with additional skills in Python or C being highly desirable.
- Proven track record in designing and developing high-performance, scalable distributed software applications in a cloud environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of cloud technologies such as message queues (Kafka/PubSub/Redis) and Data Storage solutions (SQL/Bigtable/Redis/Mongo/BigQuery).
- Demonstrated capability in backend development, including REST APIs, databases, and serverless computing for distributed cloud applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance for the complete delivery of solutions, ensuring alignment with cross-functional product management and quality assurance teams.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot advanced next-generation cloud security solutions to tackle intricate network security issues.
- Lead the construction of scalable cloud security architecture through active coding and strategic architectural planning.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and design through deployment and testing.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, SRE, and Quality Engineering to deliver high-quality security-as-a-service offerings to the market.
- Simplify complex technical challenges to enhance customer outcomes by engaging with customer support teams.
- Promote a culture of innovation, intellectual curiosity, and problem-solving within the engineering team.
