Requirements
Must:
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10 years in the field.
- Extensive background in UI development, specifically with Javascript, CSS, HTML, ReactJS, TypeScript, and Jest.
- Proficient with cloud-native environments like Google Cloud Platform or AWS, including experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and performance enhancement strategies.
- Proven success in architecting robust solutions for high-transaction, high-data-volume applications.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and a commitment to automation testing to ensure high code coverage.
- Results-oriented approach to problem-solving and quality assurance, with a focus on creating excellent user experiences.
- 10+ years as a UI Engineer or Full Stack Developer preferred.
- Expertise in building scalable, enterprise-level web applications.
- Experience with modern build tools and front-end toolchains, including npm/yarn, Webpack, and monorepo structures.
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset; bonus for server-side programming experience in Java or Python.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, architecture, and scaling of our advanced cloud-based Data Security Platform.
- Own the full lifecycle of UI features and components from design through to maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure product integration and optimize solutions.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design critiques, and making architecural decisions to uphold quality standards.
- Implement production stability measures and offer immediate responses to production-related issues.
- Independently manage and execute high-impact feature deliveries in the Data Security area.
- Continuously investigate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve UI performance and functionality.
- Take ownership of specific feature areas, delivering on quality and timelines.
- Actively share knowledge and mentor fellow engineers, fostering a positive team environment.
- Identify opportunities for process and product improvements, advocating for innovative changes.
- Serve as a technical authority, driving the adoption of best practices and staying updated on industry trends.
- Collaborate with others toward shared objectives, building strong relationships and understanding team dynamics.
