Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of experience in technical sales or a related field preferred
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Google Cloud Platform Deployment Manager, etc.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools including GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including Alicloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud, especially in configuring and administering security features and services
- Deep understanding of cloud security areas such as Shift Left, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Workload Protection (CWP), Key Secure Posture Management (KSPM), Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM), Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), and AI Security Posture Management (AI-SPM)
- Background in security domains or cloud security is highly desirable
- Understanding of container technologies and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Field sales experience with potential travel to meet with customers
- Proficient in English
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account teams to propose and create customer-specific solutions within your area of specialization
- Serve as an expert representative to clients across various organizational levels, from practitioners to senior leadership
- Act as the primary technical liaison for Cloud Security, actively participating in responding to RFIs and RFPs
- Lead customer demonstrations to showcase our unique value in cloud security
- Plan and execute Proof of Value (PoV) projects for potential customers and partners, ensuring technical success
- Drive high validation and PoV success rates in your specialization
- Discuss product alignment with customer needs and highlight our competitive advantages
- Design solutions that enhance and simplify the customer security architecture
- Expedite the technical validation of proposed solutions within your area
- Maintain documentation of High-Level Design and Key Use Cases to ensure successful implementation and value realization of our solutions
- Assist customers in building and enhancing their services surrounding Prisma Cloud
- Engage in discussions about industry trends and changes in the security environment
- Provide credible evaluations of competing offerings and position our solutions as superior
- Promote Palo Alto Networks or partner services to ensure successful adoption and realization of our solutions
- Initiate Projects aimed at improving team performance
- Implement organizational policies and support others in their adoption
- Convey customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D to help shape product requirements and features
