Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Dual major in Finance or relevant experience in Finance is advantageous
- Over 7 years of experience in software engineering
- Extensive full-stack development expertise
- Proven experience in leading architectural design for complex systems
- Experience in deploying and scaling cloud-native applications (preferably Google Cloud Platform)
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI-integrated systems (including RAG, embeddings, tool/function calling, evaluation patterns)
- Strong grasp of system reliability, observability, and production operations
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction and enhance team impact
Responsibilities
- Design and lead the development of scalable full-stack enterprise applications that support finance initiatives using TypeScript, NestJS, React, and SQL
- Define system architecture, data models, service boundaries, and integration patterns for finance-critical platforms
- Establish and standardize AI patterns including RAG pipelines, structured LLM workflows, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives from architecture through to production rollout
- Ensure the reliability, security, observability, and performance of systems
- Influence technical decisions across teams in collaboration with Finance stakeholders and engineering partners
- Identify modernization opportunities for finance workflows through automation and applied AI
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex production or architectural challenges
- Mentor senior engineers and promote high engineering standards within the team
