Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of experience in Partner Solution Consulting, pre-sales engineering, or a comparable technical position within the tech sector
- Proficient in at least one of the following: Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE
- Prior experience working with channel partners is essential; a strong grasp of channel sales models and collaboration with resellers and distributors is vital
- Preferred experience in US Federal technical sales and in-depth knowledge of all Palo Alto Networks platforms
- Previous engagement in selling, implementing, or managing SaaS products is highly desirable
- Familiarity with complex sales cycles involving multiple buying centers and various product offerings is favored
- Background in architecting cybersecurity solutions that address technical issues and influence business strategies is a plus
- Proven ability to influence and secure buy-in from essential stakeholders, whether in customer-facing or internal contexts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the capacity to convey intricate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Hands-on expertise in product installations, configurations, and troubleshooting
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a diverse team, juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to resolving challenges
- Willingness to travel for partner support and events as required
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical authority for assigned channel partners
- Collaborate with focused partners in the territory to formulate comprehensive business strategies aligned with overarching objectives
- Provide technical pre-sales assistance to partners, which includes product presentations, demonstrations, and solution design
- Work closely with sales colleagues to uncover new partnership opportunities and enhance existing ones
- Plan and execute in-depth technical training sessions for partners, ensuring proficiency with our products and integration methodologies
- Support channel partners with technical challenges during and after implementation, serving as an intermediary with our technical support teams
- Utilize business and technical expertise to design and deliver tailored solutions reflecting partner and customer requirements while adhering to company standards
- Stay informed about product roadmaps, emerging technologies, and industry trends to better enable partners in business growth
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of channel enablement resources, including technical manuals, guides, and webinars
- Collaborate with product management and development teams to relay feedback on product enhancements based on partner and customer insights
- Drive results by meticulously recording partner interactions, sales pipelines, and technical support provided, and regularly reporting progress to management
