Requirements
Must:
- 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field, or a two-year college degree combined with specialized training from a business or trade school.
- Prior experience with data processing including networks, PCs, and data communications.
- A+/Network+/Security+ certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Intune, Entra, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) and Microsoft Server (2019/2022).
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, SQL, Cisco equipment, and firewall and router configurations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
- Competence to work independently and collaboratively, while managing remote support needs.
- Flexibility to work after hours or travel between office locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the credit unions network, including planning, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network and system hardware and software.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on PCs, printers, terminals, and networks; coordinate with technical support and vendors as needed.
- Offer continuous support to staff regarding end-user hardware and software; assist users in developing standard applications and inform them of features from product updates.
- Address help desk tickets promptly to prevent disruptions in operations.
- Provision new devices and manage the inventory of disposed and fully depreciated equipment.
- Install end-user hardware and software, ensuring employees understand maintenance procedures for their devices and data backup protocols.
- Aid the CIO in keeping network equipment current with the latest patches and security updates.
- Assist with modifications to the phone system, including user setups and voicemail configuration.
- Serve as the primary backup to the CIO, acting as the main point of contact in their absence.
- Support the CIO in selecting new vendors and overseeing project implementations.
- Maintain user access controls and facility security systems.
- Execute other job-related duties as assigned.
