OT and ICS Security Engineer

- Administer and implement solutions while strategically planning and resolving issues that arise, all while being mindful of plant and distribution center operations. - Develop and support OT/ICS security strategies that align with business objectives and comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Conduct risk assessments, manage vulnerabilities, and perform security audits across operational technology systems. - Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices into servers, PCs, SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and other industrial control systems. - Monitor for cybersecurity threats, incidents, and anomalies affecting industrial assets, coordinating appropriate responses. - Maintain OT security policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance awareness and improve security practices. - Collaborate closely with the CIO/CISO, VP of Operations, and Director of Engineering, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration for success. - Review existing architectures to identify security gaps and recommend prioritized improvements using a risk-aware approach. - Partner with external vendors and consultants to assess and implement new security technologies and solutions. - Ensure security initiatives are aligned with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISA/IEC 62443, CIS Controls, and MITRE ATT&CK for ICS. - Participate in incident response efforts related to OT breaches, including forensic investigations and actionable planning. - Collaborate across teams to audit and test networks, servers, and OT/ICS equipment to ensure system integrity and security.
