Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of practical Salesforce configuration, development, and architectural experience with a strong grasp of platform functionalities, limitations, and best practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in crafting and executing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions, encompassing data modeling, security, integration architecture, and performance enhancement.
- Excellent client-facing communication abilities, adept at converting complex technical concepts into straightforward, actionable advice for non-technical audiences (executives, program staff, and leadership in nonprofits and government).
- Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced consulting setting while maintaining exemplary attention to detail.
- Collaborative leadership style, experienced in guiding remote or cross-functional teams.
- (Preferred) Experience with human services, nonprofit, public sector, or health/human services organizations is particularly valued.
- (Preferred) Hands-on experience with Nonprofit Cloud (NPSP/NPC), Public Sector Solutions, Tableau, MuleSoft, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce, or similar Salesforce ecosystem products.
- (Preferred) Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Solution Architect, Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent) are strongly desired.
- (Preferred) Background in digital transformation initiatives, multi-phase technology roadmaps, or data strategy and governance.
- (Preferred) A passion for technology strategy, innovation, and leveraging Salesforce to achieve measurable social impact.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements for human services organizations and develop scalable, secure, and future-proof Salesforce solutions, with significant expertise in Nonprofit Cloud (NPSP/NPC), Public Sector Solutions, and Salesforce integrations (Tableau, MuleSoft, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce, Slack, Experience Cloud, and more).
- Act as a trusted strategic consultant, offering expert advice on Salesforce best practices, process improvements, system optimization, and long-term technology planning during implementations, audits, and continuous support.
- Collaborate closely with internal delivery teams, product managers, stakeholders, and client leaders to prioritize architectural choices, align on technical strategies, and ensure solutions provide measurable benefits.
- Mentor junior architects, consultants, and team members; lead architectural governance and decision-making; and cultivate a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and ongoing enhancement.
- Supervise end-to-end deployment of complex solutions, resolve advanced technical challenges, produce comprehensive technical documentation, and ensure enduring system performance and scalability.
- Contribute to AI readiness projects, data strategy and harmonization initiatives, and the ongoing development of our proprietary CAUSE Solutions accelerators specifically designed for human services applications (e.g., shelter operations, case management, workforce placement, compliance reporting).
