Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a similar field
- Security+ certification or equivalent cybersecurity credentials
- Background in incident management and crisis communications
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-61, ISO 27001/2
- Proficiency in ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 Suite to enhance operational efficiency
- Enthusiasm for prompt engineering and utilizing AI technologies to improve productivity and workflows
- 3+ years of experience in program or project management, incident management, emergency communications, or related cybersecurity positions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and influence stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations
- Proven accountability, self-motivation, and ability to work effectively in team settings
- Detail-oriented with a dedication to following established protocols
- Ability to quickly adapt to new processes
- Comfortable working independently in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
- Skilled in conveying technical discussions into concise incident reports within strict deadlines
- Ability to engage with various organizational levels to clarify requirements and ensure accuracy
Responsibilities
- Oversee incident operations, including tracking incidents, note-taking, and preparing lessons learned to ensure compliance with governance standards
- Act as a Communication Liaison during cyber incidents, producing clear and high-quality reports for global executives under tight deadlines
- Collaborate with TRRAC and stakeholders to create and update knowledge articles and process documentation
- Lead technical projects by gathering requirements, developing plans, monitoring progress, providing updates, and ensuring initiatives reach completion with minimal supervision
- Support both regular and ad hoc reporting requirements for the TRRAC program
- Create training materials and presentations that align with company and TRRAC branding to enhance knowledge sharing and training initiatives
Description
We are excited to welcome a detail-oriented and inquisitive Cybersecurity Operations Coordinator to our Threat Research, Response, and Analysis Center (TRRAC) team in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will support cyber threat intelligence and incident response initiatives, playing a critical part in assisting Incident Commanders and Analysts throughout the incident lifecycle. As our operational subject matter expert, you will ensure adherence to our Incident Response Plan and recognized cybersecurity frameworks. We foster a dynamic workplace where you can thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous settings, leveraging your strong writing skills to communicate complex cyber incidents effectively to diverse audiences, while managing both small critical tasks and larger strategic initiatives.
