Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of IT experience in production settings
- At least 3 years of practical networking expertise, including design, deployment, and troubleshooting
- CCNA or Fortinet FCP certification is mandatory
- Strong preference for Fortinet firewall experience
- Familiarity with professional ticketing systems, preferably ConnectWise Manage
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain comprehensive network environments from inception
- Deploy and manage firewalls (Fortinet preferred), switches, wireless technology, VLANs, VPNs, and routing
- Independently build networks and infrastructure with minimal supervision, adhering to company standards
- Act as the key technical resource for intricate network troubleshooting
- Provide support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 workstations
- Oversee both on-premises and cloud-based server infrastructure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- Configure, monitor, and validate backup solutions
- Utilize RMM tools for proactive monitoring and problem resolution
- Assist with a wide range of issues from end-user support to complex infrastructure challenges
- Accurately document all work and solutions within the ticketing system
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
