Director of AI and Software Engineering

- Over 5 years of experience in a senior engineering individual contributor role or related field, with a bachelors or masters degree or equivalent experience. - At least 3 years of experience in an engineering management capacity, successfully leading and mentoring teams while remaining technically involved. - Experience managing multiple teams and products in a manager-of-managers role. - Strong proficiency in modern technologies used to construct highly scalable, data-intensive applications, with familiarity in at least 60% of PMGs technology stack (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, Terraform, Python, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, OpenAI). - Knowledge of distributed system design principles, delivering efficient, clean, and maintainable code. - Deep understanding of MarTech and its influence on digital marketing strategies. - Experience utilizing infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for workflow automation. - Practical experience or interest in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and platforms such as OpenAI, Gemini, or Bedrock. - Advanced understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring effective and scalable deployments. - Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills to align various teams and stakeholders. - Ability to motivate and inspire teams, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture. - Strong organizational and planning skills with experience in managing teams towards long-term strategies and achieving significant results. - Interest or experience in the digital marketing sector, especially regarding the intersection of software solutions and marketing strategy. - Commitment to ongoing learning and adaptability, staying current with media innovation while prioritizing client success through a customer-focused approach that seeks to generate significant value. - Dedication to people-oriented leadership, promoting collaboration, innovation, and professional growth by setting a positive example and cultivating strong relationships that empower others to thrive.
