Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in backend development, specifically in crafting scalable, high-performance systems or a related area, supported by a bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working with contemporary backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Express.js.
- Demonstrated proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Practical experience across every stage of software development, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding other engineers towards achieving technical excellence.
- Proficient in backend programming languages like Node.js, Python, or Go, with an emphasis on writing clean and maintainable code.
- Advanced knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL, including skills in query optimization and schema design.
- Familiarity with AI technologies such as OpenAI, Bedrock, Vertex, and LangChain for innovative backend solutions.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines for automating testing and deployments.
- Familiar with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible for efficient infrastructure management.
- Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in monitoring tools including Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK Stack for optimizing performance and resolving issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset passionate about developing reliable and impactful backend systems.
- Interest or familiarity with the digital marketing sector and its backend solutions.
- Experience with large language models (LLMs) or AI-driven backend tools.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of novel, scalable features within the Alli suite of applications.
- Create and implement architectural designs to yield reliable, complex, and highly scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions that enhance performance and deliver business results.
- Build scalable products that lead to measurable results for our clients.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration and innovation by mentoring junior and mid-level engineers and promoting best practices in development.
- Conduct coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development lifecycle.
- Perform code reviews and provide essential feedback to fellow backend engineers to maintain high-quality, sustainable code within Alli.
- Pioneering development in cutting-edge technologies that are transforming the marketing technology landscape.
