Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of backend development experience with NodeJS or Python, focusing on creating scalable, high-performance systems, or equivalent experience with a bachelors or masters degree.
- 3+ years of experience with modern backend frameworks such as ExpressJS, Django, or Flask.
- Proven background in designing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience throughout the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding engineers to achieve technical excellence.
- Advanced skills in database management with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL, including optimization and schema design.
- Familiarity with AI technologies such as OpenAI, Bedrock, Vertex, and LangChain for innovative backend solutions.
- Proficient with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible for efficient infrastructure management.
- Practical experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes for the deployment and management of distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK Stack for performance enhancement and troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a passion for developing dependable and impactful backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative, scalable features within the Alli application suite.
- Draft and execute architectural designs that yield reliable, complex, and highly scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions that enhance performance and achieve business goals.
- Create scalable products that deliver measurable results for our clients.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and innovation by mentoring junior and mid-level engineers and advocating best development practices.
- Conduct coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development lifecycle.
- Perform code reviews and offer constructive feedback to fellow backend engineers to ensure the maintenance of high-quality code across Alli.
- Drive development using state-of-the-art technologies that redefine the marketing technology landscape.
