Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or a related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams calling
- Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows and Linux
- Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving skills
- Understanding of network physical and logical structures
- Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in server administration
- Experience with Linux operating system
- Experience with Windows operating system
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize server functionality
- Skills in analyzing system logs for troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Install and configure server hardware and software
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers and associated technology tools
- Monitor system performance to ensure smooth and secure operations
- Troubleshoot issues reported by users or detected through monitoring tools
- Conduct regular backup operations and establish processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- Maintain security measures, including access controls, backups, and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models as needed
- Develop expertise to train team members on new technologies
- Create and maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and policies
