Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in Java Programming and Java Virtual Machine (JVM) fundamentals
- Strong command of the Spring framework, including Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA
- Proficient in build tools like Maven or Gradle for effective project management
- Knowledge of RESTful API Design Principles and experience in Web Services (REST and SOAP)
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization practices
- Understanding of JBoss EAP architecture, configuration, and deployment for Java EE applications
- Proficient in HTML5, including semantic elements and multimedia integration
- Experience with Okta for identity and access management (IAM) tasks
- Knowledge of Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise for advanced security measures
- Understanding of LN Threat Metrix for digital identity intelligence and fraud prevention
- Strong skills in MS SQL Server, including T-SQL querying and database administration
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like Junit and Selenium
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with DB2 database design and SQL querying
- Proficiency in Thymeleaf for dynamic web page development
- Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git and CVS
- Experience with Texas Workforce Commission is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Java and Spring frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine application requirements and specifications
- Implement RESTful APIs and web services for seamless integration
- Manage code repositories and ensure best practices in version control
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance in application deployments
- Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve our applications
- Assist in the deployment and scaling of applications using containerization and orchestration tools
- Document technical requirements and development processes for team reference
