Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of leading multiple teams in delivering SaaS applications
- Strong technical expertise in MERN stack technologies such as React, Node.js, and MongoDB
- Capability to evaluate architecture, designs, and code for quality, scalability, and potential risks
- Demonstrated experience in Agile or SAFe environments with consistent delivery outcomes
- Strong leadership abilities, particularly in mentoring engineering managers and senior engineers
- Skill in balancing delivery speed, technical quality, and long-term platform sustainability
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting execution status, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership
Responsibilities
- Oversee execution and delivery of IntelliSPECs SaaS platform across frontend and backend teams
- Act as a hands-on technical leader in architecture reviews, design decisions, and delivery trade-offs
- Ensure uniform engineering standards across React applications, Node.js services, and MongoDB data layers
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Architect to guarantee proper execution of architectural intent
- Work in partnership with DevSecOps and SDET leadership to ensure security, quality, and reliability are integral to delivery
- Mentor engineering managers and senior engineers on technical decision-making and disciplined execution
- Establish and monitor engineering metrics focusing on delivery predictability, quality, and team well-being
- Propel continuous enhancements in engineering processes, tools, and execution rigor
