Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles
- Demonstrated leadership in multiple software engineering teams delivering SaaS applications
- Strong technical expertise in MERN-stack technologies including React, Node.js, and MongoDB
- Proficient in reviewing architecture, designs, and code for quality, scalability, and risk assessment
- Proven ability to operate in Agile or SAFe environments with reliable delivery outcomes
- Exceptional people leadership skills, including the ability to mentor engineering managers and senior engineers
- Capacity to balance fast delivery, technical excellence, and the long-term sustainability of the platform
- Outstanding communication skills, with experience in presenting updates, risks, and trade-offs to senior executives
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution and delivery of IntelliSPECs SaaS platform for both frontend and backend teams
- Act as a hands-on technical leader in architecture reviews, design decisions, and delivery trade-offs
- Ensure uniform engineering standards across React applications, Node.js services, and MongoDB data layers
- Collaborate with the Chief Architect to guarantee correct implementation of architectural plans
- Work alongside DevSecOps and SDET leadership to incorporate security, quality, and reliability into the delivery processes
- Mentor engineering managers and senior engineers on technical decision-making and execution discipline
- Establish and monitor engineering metrics related to predictable delivery, quality, and team wellbeing
- Drive ongoing enhancement of engineering processes, tools, and execution rigor
