Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of experience in software architecture, platform engineering, or senior technical leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience in architecting large-scale SaaS applications utilizing modern web stacks
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of MERN-stack technologies, specifically React, Node.js, and MongoDB
- Profound expertise in designing API-first and microservices-based SaaS platforms
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns, state management, and performance optimization for React apps
- Practical experience in MongoDB data modeling, indexing strategies, and scalable data access patterns
- Experience in integrating AI/ML capabilities into SaaS platforms, including data pipelines and inference workflows
- Proficient with cloud-native platforms (Azure preferred), containerization, and Kubernetes
- Ability to set architectural standards, reference implementations, and technology roadmaps
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of influencing executives, architects, and senior engineers
Responsibilities
- Define and manage IntelliSPECs comprehensive SaaS architecture across frontend, backend, data, AI, and cloud layers
- Create architectural standards for React-based web applications and Node.js services
- Oversee MongoDB data architecture, including schema design, optimization, and lifecycle management
- Ensure AI capabilities are architected responsibly and integrated seamlessly into SaaS processes
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to translate the platform vision into actionable roadmaps
- Review and endorse major architectural choices, designs, and technology options
- Verify that platform scalability, availability, security, and performance align with enterprise SaaS standards
- Partner with DevSecOps to harmonize architecture with CI/CD, security, compliance, and operational preparedness
- Mentor architects and senior engineers, elevating the technical competency across the organization
