Trade Operations Support Specialist

- My Equity Derivatives Production Services team is responsible for delivering various levels of support to the Equity Derivatives business, which includes Sales, Trading, Risk Management, and Middle Office. - The team offers support for a sophisticated suite of real-time front-office applications utilized by the Equities business. - We take ownership of and maintain in-house applications that manage position keeping, trade capture, real-time risk management, P&L attribution, and scenario stress calculation. - Our location on the trading floor allows us direct access to the Front Office, which enables us to collect real-time user feedback and requirements effectively. - Collaboration with developers in New York, London, Hong Kong, Mumbai, and Tokyo to enhance and expand the platform is also part of our role. - I expect you to troubleshoot and diagnose Trading and Risk applications in real-time. - Collaborating with development teams to gather requirements and assist in systems development is a key responsibility. - Supporting End-Of-Day processes for a complex Risk system while collaborating with Production Support teams in various regions is expected. - You will need to take ownership of issues, ensuring thorough follow-up to resolution while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. - Utilizing ServiceNow to record incidents, manage releases, and perform Problem Management is required. - I need you to track issues, prioritize workloads, manage releases and deployments, and perform Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning management. - You will also be tasked with handling user queries and service requests, which often pertain to an in-depth analysis of the technical and/or business logic of our systems. - Additionally, you will implement automation tasks to minimize manual effort.
