IT Support Specialist

- Diagnose, maintain, and resolve hardware and software issues including user PCs, printers, and PC-controlled manufacturing equipment. - Manage, troubleshoot, and deploy scanning and printing equipment in production facilities. - Image, configure, and set up new computer hardware as required. - Utilize helpdesk software to monitor and document requests and resolutions. - Employ project management software to track project progress and tasks. - Maintain an inventory of critical IT hardware and supplies specific to each location. - Ensure successful completion of location-specific server backup processes. - Oversee the Active Directory information for the respective locations. - Facilitate and engage in key IT process improvements. - Support industry-specific software applications for manufacturing. - Collaborate in the design and assessment of new systems and application rollouts. - Ensure compliance of workstations with policies, security measures, licensing agreements, and configuration standards. - Conduct research to assist in hardware and software procurement and development efforts. - Coordinate deployment of service packs, updates, and vendor patches following best practices. - Ensure new software integration meets functional, compliance, security, and interface requirements. - Actively participate in cross-departmental projects as needed. - Conduct training sessions, presentations, and meetings when required. - Engage in location-specific Kaizen, TPM, and A3 events as requested. - Foster and strengthen business relationships within and outside the organization to ensure project success. - Develop best practices and tools for effective project execution.
