Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in developing intricate Microsoft Access databases with a strong grasp of SQL queries and VBA scripting.
- Proficient in Python programming for automation, data processing, and system integration activities.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and business workflows.
- Understanding of Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Processing, QC, Inventory, Auditing, Accounting, and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of Forms, Fields, Queries, Modules, and Reports, with the capability to implement significant modifications in MS Access Database and ERP Systems.
- Acquainted with software development methodologies, particularly Agile practices.
- Practical experience working with version control systems like GitHub or SVN for collaborative project management.
- Insight into IT infrastructure components, including cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, Google Workspace environments, and application deployment processes.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases along with SQL optimization techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance our current Microsoft Access database to bolster business operations, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
- Automate repetitive tasks and data workflows using Access and associated systems.
- Create intuitive user interfaces within Access that promote streamlined data entry and reporting for users.
- Manage and back up our Access Database.
- Enforce security best practices in our existing Access Database.
- Integrate APIs and other services into our current Access database.
- Execute testing and troubleshooting of database development to guarantee seamless operation.
- Plan, develop, customize, and code our new Odoo ERP System for revamped Forms, Queries, and Reports using Python, JavaScript, and additional languages.
