Requirements
Must:
- BA/BS in English, Technical Writing, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
- Four years of relevant work experience
- Familiarity with content management, process improvement, and project management for diverse business documentation
- Experience with Documentum
- Skill in developing flowcharts
- Proficiency in creating Microsoft Excel and Word forms
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Convert intricate procedural information into user-friendly Utility Guidance Documents including standards, procedures, job aids, tailboards, and manuals
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to edit and review documentation for clarity and compliance with management standards
- Ensure technical accuracy and quality of the documentation
- Perform peer proofing for fellow technical writers
- Manage EDRS approval processes
- Oversee document uploads into Documentum
- Work with clients to verify the accuracy of Documentum properties
- Collaborate with TDM analysts to publish documents to the Technical Information Library
- Ensure compliance and quality in documentation reviews with SMEs
- Generate final documents according to the documentation plan and maintain systems
