Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of Workday experience with advanced knowledge in at least two core modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, or similar).
- More than 3 years of experience in managing teams, demonstrating a strong ability to cultivate high-performing ERP or systems teams.
- Proven experience in overseeing and handling Workday integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, or third-party iPaaS tools).
- In-depth understanding of business processes within HR, Finance, or Payroll.
- Knowledgeable of SOX IT General Controls, HIPAA regulations, and system access management in a compliance-focused environment.
- Outstanding communication capability to simplify technical concepts for executive leaders and articulate business needs to technical teams.
- Preferred: Experience with comprehensive Workday implementations or significant module expansions.
- Preferred: Background in healthcare or experience with large multi-site organizations.
- Preferred: Workday Pro certification or equivalent credentials in one or more functional areas.
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the long-term strategy for the Workday platform aligned with our business goals.
- Develop a governance framework for system configurations, management of releases, and integration of new modules.
- Assess and recommend the adoption of new Workday features and products to address dynamic organizational requirements.
- Oversee all Workday modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Learning, Financial Management, and Reporting/Analytics.
- Manage all system integrations with both upstream and downstream platforms.
- Ensure the platform remains operational, with a focus on data accuracy and performance for all integrations.
- Build and lead a team of Workday analysts and system administrators.
- Establish clear objectives, promote professional growth, and cultivate a culture rooted in accountability and ongoing improvement.
- Manage relationships with vendors and implementation partners when necessary.
- Act as a reliable partner to Finance, HR, Payroll, and Operations leadership, translating business requirements into effective Workday solutions.
- Communicate updates, potential risks, and roadmap priorities to senior executive stakeholders.
- Guarantee that Workday and all integrated systems comply with cybersecurity regulations.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit and Cybersecurity teams to ensure proper system access controls and maintain thorough audit trails.
- Assist in external audits and internal control evaluations associated with Workday-managed data and processes.
- Lead semi-annual Workday release cycles, analyzing feature impacts, and coordinate testing and deployment across relevant stakeholder groups.
- Direct new module launches and enhancements from the requirements phase through to go-live.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and cross-functional resources for ERP projects.
