Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in control engineering.
- Over 5 years of demonstrated expertise in related roles.
- Advanced proficiency in programming with Rockwell Automation software, such as Studio 5000 and RSLogix.
- Strong knowledge of industrial networks, particularly EtherNet/IP design and managed switch configuration.
- Familiarity with robotics automation systems, particularly Yaskawa and Fanuc.
- Skilled in AutoCAD for the creation and modification of electrical schematics.
- Proficient with Allen Bradley hardware and software solutions.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Committed to maintaining a safe work environment by proactively identifying hazards.
Responsibilities
- Assess and resolve issues with facility and manufacturing control systems, including PLCs and computer controls.
- Design and implement modifications to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve reliability of existing systems.
- Develop control system designs and prepare drawings, specifications, and project scopes while collaborating with other engineering teams.
- Write and adjust PLC programs and recommend hardware updates to improve processes and address operational challenges.
- Maintain thorough documentation of existing automated systems and software/hardware revisions.
- Collaborate with IT and technical personnel to ensure effective application of control systems.
- Provide services in electrical engineering, hardware design, project management, and capital project start-ups.
- Assist maintenance teams in troubleshooting and installing electrical equipment and control systems.
- Engage in the implementation and enhancement of the Manufacturing Execution System.
