Requirements
Must:
- Located in San Antonio, TX
- Must be a US Citizen
- Hold a TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Possess CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js
- Familiarity with RESTful API creation and development
- Strong grasp of security best practices in web applications
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for full-stack development (preferred)
- Skills in containerization with Docker and managing Linux (RHEL) systems (preferred)
- Understanding of container orchestration tools (preferred)
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools such as Gitlab, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (preferred)
- Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Accumulo, and Hadoop (preferred)
- Proficient in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js (preferred)
- Experience with Elasticsearch for search capabilities (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and sustain back-end components of web applications
- Develop and manage server-side logic using programming languages like Java, Python, Node.js, and/or Ruby
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs and web services ensuring seamless integration with front-end components
- Oversee and optimize database systems, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Accumulo, and Hadoop
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
- Collaborate with front-end developers to merge user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from both front-end and back-end development
- Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following Agile software development standards
- Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to team members
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance
- Develop and execute testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance testing
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements for high availability and reliability
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD processes and automate deployment pipelines
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes

Our compensation package ranges from $90,000.00 to $125,000.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
