Requirements
Must:

- Ability to interpret and modify both routine and advanced distributor orders.
- Competence in making informed judgments to resolve technical challenges or provide recommendations.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding both simple and intricate engineering and architectural drawings.
- Advanced knowledge of computer systems, including CAD/Solid Works and Excel, alongside the ability to generate PDF documents for external use.
- Capability to manage challenging customer interactions and transform them into positive outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with garage door design, configuration, and installation requirements is advantageous.
- Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent record-keeping skills.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to address field issues (approximately 15% travel).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to customers, field technicians, and employees troubleshooting garage door access systems.
- Collaborate with customers and staff to explore issues, identify solutions, and deliver resolutions.
- Offer support for sophisticated and technical product inquiries from customers or users.
- Analyze complex issues with exceptional judgment to resolve problems related to installed garage door systems.
- Aid in the effective resolution of service escalations.
- Report design, reliability, and production issues to relevant teams including Quality, Design Engineering, and IT Support.
- Participate in customer installations and training as needed.
- Maintain logs and records of customer and employee inquiries.
- Review call logs to identify recurring field issues and streamline common solutions.
- Update self-help resources so customers can independently resolve their problems.
- Collaborate with customers, field sales, and engineering teams to support complex customer visits when necessary.
