Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of experience in Windows Desktop support
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
- Familiarity with ticketing systems for documentation and tracking
- Experience in providing first and second level support for customer inquiries
- Basic knowledge of Mac operating systems for supporting Apple PC users
- Understanding of core operating systems including XP, Windows 7, 8.1, and 10
- Ability to install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 2010 and Cisco Jabber
- Experience in maintaining and repairing desktop, laptop, and printer hardware
- Basic understanding of network connectivity, servers, and audio/visual equipment
- Strong communication skills for timely updates on issue status and resolutions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a project-based environment
Responsibilities
- Provide everyday local and remote desktop support to users
- Respond to inbound calls and assist customers with inquiries and troubleshooting
- Document steps taken to resolve hardware, software, and application issues
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to maintain operational consistency
- Conduct fault diagnosis and resolution for various operating systems and platforms
- Work with third-party vendors to resolve complex audio/visual issues
- Maintain updates in the ticketing system for all reported incidents
- Perform installations, upgrades, and support for various desktop applications
- Conduct general preventative maintenance on computers and associated peripherals
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation problems
- Participate in assigned projects while demonstrating teamwork and flexibility
