Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or a higher certification
- At least 18 months of IT experience
- Proficient in Windows 7-10, Microsoft Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Experienced with MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, and enterprise anti-virus solutions
- Knowledge of mobile device management for iOS and Android devices, and enterprise encryption solutions
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritize, and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on internal customer service
- Adaptable and flexible in a rapidly changing industry and work environment
- Open to working off-hours and weekends for projects or emergency support
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level contact for customer issues and problem resolution
- Collaborate with Third Party Vendors to resolve complex audio-visual problems when required
- Communicate promptly about issue status and solutions
- Maintain updates in the ticketing system for all reported incidents
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, and other authorized applications
- Possess basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware
- Conduct general preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers
- Perform repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other approved peripheral devices
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems related to network connectivity and workstation hardware/software
- Apply a broad understanding of IT, including networks, servers, audio/visual systems, smart devices, and telecommunications
- Function effectively in a project-based setting, demonstrating teamwork
- Carry out other assigned duties as needed
