Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or higher
- At least 18 months of IT experience
- Experience with Windows 7-10, Microsoft Active Directory, and utilization of GPOs
- Proficient in MS Office 365 and PC hardware installation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with enterprise anti-virus solutions and helpdesk ticketing systems
- Knowledge of mobile device management for iOS and Android devices
- Understanding of enterprise encryption solutions
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Capable of multi-tasking and effectively prioritizing to meet SLAs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Adaptable and flexible in a rapidly changing work environment
- Willingness to work off-hours and weekends for project or emergency support
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve complex audio/visual problems as necessary
- Communicate timely updates regarding issue status and resolutions
- Maintain and update tickets for all reported incidents
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Support Mac operating system users with basic knowledge
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on desktops, laptops, and printers
- Execute remedial repairs on various computing and peripheral devices
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation hardware/software issues
- Demonstrate broad IT knowledge including networks, servers, audio/visual, smart devices, and telecoms
- Adapt to a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork
- Undertake additional duties as assigned
Description
We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join our IT Support Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing both local and remote desktop support, assisting our customers in resolving technical challenges with various hardware, software, and application issues.
