Must:
- Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent relevant experience
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, and DHCP protocols
- Understanding of MS Active Directory
- Knowledge of network cabling standards and network room configurations
- Proficient with office automation products, databases, and remote access applications
- Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and related technology
- Excellent judgment and critical thinking abilities
- Capability to escalate issues and involve additional resources when necessary to meet SLA and business requirements
- Highly organized and resourceful, with skills to create and maintain informational systems
- Respectful and tolerant approach towards individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Strong team player with the ability to train and impart knowledge to others
- Professional handling of sensitive and proprietary information while ensuring confidentiality
- Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures
- Proficient in English for effective communication
Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for customers requiring technical support via phone or email
- Conduct remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and relevant inquiries
- Identify and provide the optimal solution based on customer-provided details
- Guide customers through the problem-solving process
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support staff
- Share accurate information regarding IT products or services
- Document events, problems, and their resolutions in logs
- Follow up and keep customers updated on their issues
- Relay customer feedback or suggestions to the appropriate internal teams
- Stay updated on skills through training and research
- Propose potential improvements to existing procedures
- Participate in evening and weekend activities as needed
- Adhere to organizational policies, performance initiatives, and confidentiality standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and relevant stakeholders
- Foster constructive and cooperative working relationships
- Encourage mutual respect and collaboration among team members
- Utilize experience with ITIL and ITSM concepts as applicable
- Assist with other IT support or administrative tasks as required
