Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Associates degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in desktop support, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management
- Expert knowledge of Windows 10/11 and familiarity with Windows Server 2016-2022
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Entra ID
- Experience with Zebra Setup Utilities and thermal printing hardware
- Familiarity with patching tools such as Intune and Endpoint Central
- Ability to work independently and manage personal ticket queues
- Comfortable collaborating in team settings for large infrastructure projects
- Willingness to learn proprietary software and adapt to security requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support for the modern desktop environment, managing the Microsoft 365 suite
- Configure Remote Desktop Apps to ensure secure remote access for users
- Oversee the complete user lifecycle management in Active Directory and Entra ID
- Maintain organizational unit hygiene and administer Group Policy Objects for automation and security enforcement
- Execute monthly patch cycles for Windows desktops and servers to guarantee security compliance
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Zebra thermal printing systems, handling connectivity and maintenance
- Act as the primary escalation point for Tier I issues, offering empathetic support to staff
- Document new Standard Operating Procedures to enhance our internal knowledge base
