Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in building and delivering production web applications
- Proficient hands-on experience with Laravel
- Strong practical experience with Vue.js (Inertia.js experience is a significant advantage)
- Ability to own features through their full lifecycle, including post-deployment support
- Solid understanding of Git and experience with GitHub PR workflows
- Familiarity with setting up or managing CI/CD pipelines
- Comfortable deploying and managing applications (preferably with Laravel Forge or similar)
- Security-focused engineering practices (knowledge of OWASP basics, secrets management, least privilege principles)
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in a development context (not just casual use)
Responsibilities
- Design and transform PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria into robust software solutions
- Manage features throughout their entire lifecycle: from implementation to deployment and ongoing support
- Make informed architecture decisions while clearly communicating trade-offs
- Actively troubleshoot and resolve production issues (not limited to ticket routing)
- Produce clear technical documentation that aids team efficiency and reduces recurring issues
- Utilize AI-driven IDEs and tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) as integral components of workflows
- Coordinate AI agents throughout various stages: implementation, refactoring, testing, and documentation within your team
- Develop clear execution plans, prompts, and validation criteria from PRDs and technical limitations
- Validate AI outputs for accuracy, performance, security, and adherence to acceptance criteria
- Follow disciplined loops: specification, execution, validation, testing, iteration, and deployment
- Establish safeguards against regressions, unsafe alterations, data leaks, and architectural drift
- Intervene promptly when automation does not appropriately support production stability
- Maintain and operate applications using Laravel Forge, including server and environment configuration, as well as deployment scripts
- Engage with GitHub PR workflows and branching methodologies
- Set up, oversee, or enhance CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions or alternative)
- Administer queues and background jobs while managing operational realities
- Investigate integration issues and third-party misconfigurations, providing clear remediation strategies
