Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar position, with development experience preferred.
- Proficient understanding of Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and documentation proficiency.
- Expertise in SQL and relational data analysis.
- Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, and ETL processes.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in banking or financial services.
- Exposure to core banking systems, digital banking platforms, or payment systems.
- Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent) is valued.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies and Jira.
- Assess both business and technical requirements, including legacy systems, databases, APIs, and existing data logic.
- Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure alignment and understanding.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by establishing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and aiding in defect resolution.
- Analyze and document data workflows from source systems through transformations to final reports, dashboards, and downstream usage.
- Document data mappings, transformation logic, and data lineage.
- Utilize SQL for analyzing relational databases to support operational and reporting needs.
- Manage Jira dashboards and create visualizations in Power BI.
