Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in data analysis with a strong command of SQL and business analysis techniques.
- Practical knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Familiarity with ETL processes using Talend or equivalent platforms for data integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages like R and Python for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies in relation to analytics projects within an Agile framework.
- Experience with relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Competence in database design and implementing linked data strategies for robust analytics solutions.
- Strong project management abilities with a knack for juggling multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collect, cleanse, and analyze extensive datasets utilizing SQL, R, Python, and ETL tools to uncover trends and insights.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations with Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design and sustain databases using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and sound database design principles for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Assist in project management tasks by implementing best practices from the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for data-centric projects.
- Perform business analysis to gather requirements, establish KPIs, and propose data-driven strategies.
- Automate reporting workflows using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and additional scripting tools to enhance operational efficiency.
