Requirements
Must:
- Minimum five years of software development experience
- At least five years of experience programming in Python
- A minimum of two years of experience with the Django framework
- At least one year of experience using ReactJS
- Proficiency in writing REST APIs
- Full-stack web development skills
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- A minimum of two years of experience writing SQL queries
- Experience with MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or similar databases
- Knowledge of AWS or another cloud platform
- Experience managing complex and large datasets
- Strong problem-solving, design, and development capabilities
- Eagerness and aptitude for learning in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a strong team
- Capacity to adapt to rapidly changing business needs while managing multiple priorities
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with technical and non-technical teams
Responsibilities
- Develop custom analytical software to address complex business challenges
- Implement decision-making systems that enhance analytics usage within the company
- Collaborate with Decision Science teams to integrate data science innovations into comprehensive solutions
- Work alongside Data and Technology teams to create scalable, efficient, and automated data processes
- Participate in monthly team meetings and engage in team-building initiatives
- Contribute to technical discussions and conduct peer reviews
- Share knowledge and collaborate through the OrangePeople Wiki/Knowledge Base
- Provide status updates to OrangePeople Account Management as required
