Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 7 years in product management, including at least 3 years in a technical product management role.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of software development, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), and containerization/orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with APIs (e.g., SOAP, REST, JSON, Node.JS), microservices, and relational (e.g., Oracle, MariaDB) and/or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) data architectures.
- Prior experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, or technical analyst is preferred.
- Proven experience leading Agile teams, familiarity with Scrum/Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.
- Strong analytical abilities, leveraging data (KPIs, analytics) to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with JIRA, SQL, API documentation tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger), cloud services, and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, PCI/PII, SOC2, GDPR) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Strategically define and develop product vision, strategy, and roadmap for technical products and platforms, integrating business capabilities and security measures.
- Prioritize features and technical improvements based on business objectives and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain alignment with infrastructure, database, OS, authentication, and tool lifecycle.
- Ensure long-term scalability, performance, and security of technical solutions.
- Work closely with engineering teams to articulate, document, and enhance technical requirements including APIs and data pipelines.
- Create comprehensive user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Manage the product backlog, driving prioritization and making strategic trade-offs.
- Serve as the primary liaison among engineering, leadership, and experienced product managers across various verticals.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with enterprise architects and platform teams to align with larger technology initiatives.
- Monitor key product KPIs continuously to ensure ongoing optimization.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to facilitate effective product delivery.
- Ensure timely product releases while balancing quality and business impact.
- Conduct post-launch evaluations and iterate using data-driven insights.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation and automation.
- Formulate the business case for technical investments that deliver long-term value.
