Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will engage in a variety of duties across multiple Cyber disciplines, including: - Incident Management and Security Analysis: Leading cyber security incident response teams in investigation, coordination, review, and reporting of incidents. Overseeing technical analyses of security events and coordinating these responses with internal and external partners. Ensuring proper data collection and preservation during incident response activities in accordance with industry standards. Preparing and delivering briefings to senior management as a reliable incident responder. - Security Monitoring & Analysis: Identifying and prioritizing security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities across networks, systems, and new technology initiatives. Leading the systems management team to address identified gaps and developing security monitoring roadmaps for OCC technologies and applications. Implementing monitoring use cases and validating security tools' configurations and effectiveness. - Security Device Administration: Serving as an expert on security tools, managing health checks, version updates, and content development. Ensuring that content changes from other analysts and teams are suitable. Enhancing current metrics related to security tools' capabilities and performance.

Description


We are looking for an individual with a minimum of six years of experience in information security, preferably within the financial services sector, and at least three years of hands-on experience in security operations focusing on Cyber Threat Analysis, Incident Response, or related fields. A year in a leadership or project lead role is also required. Familiarity with threat actors’ capabilities and methodologies relevant to the financial industry is important. We prefer candidates with certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, or GCIH. The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is the leading organization for equity derivatives clearing globally.
