Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 6 years in Desktop Support Technician roles or equivalent IT experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial position with direct reports
- Experience in Healthcare or with Epic systems is highly beneficial
- Ideal candidate will have Lead Epic TDR experience
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a team of technicians, ensuring effective communication with project managers
- Keep technicians efficiently utilized and assist with various tasks as required
- Conduct deployment and testing of devices
- Manage testing of end-user devices, such as workstations, thin clients, printers, e-signature pads, and barcode scanners that work with Epic EHR
- Ensure each device is thoroughly tested prior to go-live
- Test workstations and peripherals utilizing Epic software modules and execute test scripts to verify printer queues and mappings
- Create and modify Excel spreadsheets as needed
- Provide detailed reports on any device or workstation failures using Epic modules and test-script outputs for efficient resolution
- Analyze expected results and document failures in line with test script criteria
Description
We are seeking a Lead Computer Technician to join our team in Yankton, SD. This contract position offers a competitive rate of $32 per hour, along with benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k). Our team is committed to supporting a seamless go-live experience for our healthcare system. The role entails full onsite engagement, with a standard schedule of 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
