Requirements
Must:
- Preferred experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, Help Desk, or similar roles
- Previous experience in Healthcare IT or with Epic systems is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be comfortable working full-time onsite
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Basic proficiency in Excel is required
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing and validation of workstations and PCs
- Test functionality of printers, barcode scanners, e-signature pads, and thin clients
- Follow structured Epic test scripts for accuracy
- Validate printer mappings and manage print queues
- Document outcomes of tests and report any device failures
- Maintain accurate tracking logs using Excel
- Clearly communicate issues for effective troubleshooting and resolution
Description
We are a dedicated team supporting a healthcare system as it prepares for the rollout of its Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This role is specifically focused on device testing and validation, and it does not involve deployment or installation tasks. This position is ideal for entry-level IT professionals, desktop support or help desk technicians, and recent graduates in IT or healthcare fields. We offer competitive compensation at $25 per hour, along with benefits such as mileage reimbursement, health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan. The work is conducted onsite in Sioux Falls, SD.
