Field Service IT Support Specialist

- You will be tasked with deploying devices to support an exciting initiative aimed at implementing an enterprise-scale Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for a healthcare network. - Your work will involve handling various devices, such as workstations, thin clients, printers, e-signature pads, bar code scanners, and other end-user devices that function with the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. - Additionally, you will conduct testing on each device several weeks to months before the go-live date. - You will assess workstations and peripheral devices using Epic software modules and execute test scripts to ensure that printing queues are correctly established and printers are associated with the appropriate workstations, as well as confirm that peripheral devices operate as needed. - You will need to compile detailed reports on any malfunctioning workstation or device, utilizing Epic modules and outputs from test scripts, to ensure quick and efficient resolution of troubleshooting issues. - Your role will require you to understand the expected outcomes and accurately document any failures based on test script specifications.
