Requirements
Must:
- Over 4 years of experience as a Desktop Technician or similar IT role
- Experience in healthcare or with Epic systems is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with Epic TDR is considered ideal
- Minimum of 3 years of helpdesk or relevant IT experience is essential
- At least 1 year of experience in Healthcare IT is preferred
- Preferred experience of 1 year utilizing Epic systems
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing of devices to support a key project aimed at implementing enterprise-level Epic EMR for a healthcare system
- Test various devices including workstations, thin clients, printers, e-signature pads, barcode scanners, and other user devices integrated with Epic EHR
- Perform pre-go-live testing for each device to ensure functionality
- Utilize Epic software modules and execute testing scripts to verify that printing queues and device mappings are functioning correctly
- Create, modify, and analyze Excel worksheets as needed
- Document and report detailed feedback on any failed workstations or devices via Epic modules and test outputs to facilitate prompt troubleshooting and resolution
- Comprehend expected results and provide clear documentation of failures according to test script requirements
Description
We are excited to offer 8 contract positions for Computer Technicians located in Alamogordo, NM. This positions includes a competitive pay rate of $30 per hour and comes with benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401K plan. Our technicians will be working fully onsite, with a schedule of 45 hours per week from Monday to Friday. The role requires completion of a drug test and background check, at no cost to the candidates, and compliance with various health requirements.
