I am looking for a qualified Dynamics 365 Engineer who possesses a comprehensive understanding of service-oriented architecture, solution architecture, and IT infrastructure. Additionally, proficiency in various programming languages and technologies is essential. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, constructing, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions (including CRM, ERP, or specific modules tailored to business needs), integrating with other systems, supporting users, and ensuring secure platform scalability. A strong partnership with business stakeholders and technical teams will be critical to delivering solutions aligned with functional requirements and strategic objectives.
Key qualifications include:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Typically, 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 (experience may vary depending on module focus).
- In-depth knowledge of customizing and configuring Dynamics 365 (CRM or ERP) and strong expertise in integrations (APIs, data migration, middleware).
- Familiarity with related Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), Azure services, and SQL Server.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Demonstrate expertise in Dynamics 365 by understanding its core functionalities, architecture, and various modules (such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and Click). Previous experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting Dynamics 365 is vital.
- Possess relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform certifications, which are standards for D365 technical architects and engineers.
- Showcase proficiency in customizing Dynamics 365 applications using out-of-the-box capabilities such as workflows, business rules, tables, and forms, as well as implementing plugins, PCF Controls, and web resources.
- Utilize programming languages such as C# and .NET for developing plugins, custom workflows, and extensions, along with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for client-side customizations and web applications integrated with Dynamics 365.
- Manage data within Dynamics 365 with experience in Microsoft Dataverse (formerly known as Common Data Service), and have knowledge of data migration techniques and tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Integrate Dynamics 365 with other systems using APIs, web services, Azure Cloud services, and Microsoft Power Platform tools (such as Power Automate, Dataverse, and Azure Logic Apps), including CRUD functionalities with Virtual Tables.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Power Platform—including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI—for extending functionality, automating processes, and managing datasets or creating reports.
- Have a solid understanding of cloud principles and how Dynamics 365 operates within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, as well as database management skills related to SQL Server and general database concepts.

Nice-to-haves include experience with full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and go-lives, relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365, Power Platform), cloud deployment or hybrid models, industry-specific knowledge (such as manufacturing, finance, or services), and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. This is a full-time position, with a salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000 annually.
