Requirements
Must:
- 15+ years of professional experience in large banking environments focused on Risk Technology.
- Proven leadership experience, managing teams while overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong proficiency in Python is essential; familiarity with Azure cloud computing is a plus.
- Knowledge of risk metrics including VaR, sVar, stress testing, Counterparty Credit Risk, and credit quality indicators.
- Experience with market data sources, financial instruments, and trading systems.
- Required exposure to frontend Javascript technologies.
- Desired experience with Databricks and AI/ML tools.
- Understanding of database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and distributed computing frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities in a high-pressure setting.
- Advanced accountability and follow-through, with a strong ability to prioritize various tasks, projects, and objectives.
- Capacity to comprehend complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to peers.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile, including tools like JIRA and MS Project.
- Skills in prioritizing work effectively by establishing and adhering to realistic deadlines while managing project budgets and resources responsibly.
- Strong relationship management capabilities with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
- Experience engaging professionally across various initiatives with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Understanding of financial operations, planning, controls management, and data management processes related to commercial investment banks.
- BA/BS degree is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
