Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Asset Management is preferred.
- Background in analytical, technology, or business roles will also be considered.
- Proven experience in reviewing and interpreting software license contracts, particularly with Microsoft.
- Strong data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to critically analyze data and relate it to business value and impact.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in communicating with diverse stakeholders and levels within the organization.
- Comprehensive understanding of enterprise-level Microsoft software agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of software license agreements, including what to look for and what to avoid.
- Capacity to learn and keep up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft license models.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies is advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft software audits is a plus.
- Familiar with toolsets such as Flexera, ServiceNow, Ariba, or similar and MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing Software Licensing for Microsoft products to ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Ensure timely renewal of software licenses by following the Agile framework.
- Operate the clients asset management tools in accordance with Asset Management standards.
- Set up, configure, and maintain application and entitlement data within the Flexera toolset for accuracy.
- Regularly assess and resolve data issues using defined metrics and KPIs.
- Correct any identified data inaccuracies to enhance data integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, verify, and maintain necessary data to address gaps.
- Adhere to Software Asset Management Center of Excellence standards and maintain data quality using Key Performance Indicators.
- Analyze Microsoft contracts and data to identify compliance risks and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Create and present reports for stakeholders as needed.
- Help define the strategic direction for the Software Asset Management team.
- Embrace a lean agile mindset for ongoing service improvement initiatives to refine processes, tools, and data for effective asset management.
