Senior Analytics Engineer - SQL, Python

- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related experience - Over 10 years of experience in application design, coding, testing, maintenance, and debugging - Proven record in creating and managing Conceptual, Logical, and Physical data models - Skilled in building data pipelines, crafting data models, and architecting data systems from the ground up - Proficient in developing Python APIs and writing code for data loading and processing - Experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance optimization - Strong command of Java, REST, Microservices, Spring Boot, and API gateway technologies - Familiarity with various cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Spark, and their tools - Ability to identify opportunities for data reuse and minimizing redundancy across the organization - Experience with Git/GitHub and DevOps tools such as Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) - Knowledge of messaging technologies like Kafka and related queuing tools - Willingness to take full ownership of projects from discovery to deployment - Excellent communication skills for collaboration with senior quantitative analysts, risk analysts, and stakeholders - Strong inclination to document and share work for long-term support - Previous experience in the finance sector is a must - Experience with market data providers such as Bloomberg, Markit, ICE/Client, S&P, and others - Background in handling distributed systems and processing large-scale data (trades, risk, market data) - Knowledge of fixed income analytics related to asset types like corporate bonds, Treasuries, Derivatives, and more - Proficient in managing foundational data such as security master, entity master, and account master
