Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- At least 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance for enterprise-level applications
- Proficiency in writing intermediate to complex SQL queries
- Ability to identify necessary testing types (data validation, regression, etc.)
- Experience in evaluating testability of requirements and creating comprehensive test plans
- Extensive background in Back-end/ETL testing with strong SQL skills
- Familiarity with API Testing
- Exposure to streaming technologies such as Kafka
- Understanding of large data sets and Data Quality Framework
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Azure
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C# (preferred), Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing QA strategies
- Broad knowledge of testing and modeling tools, as well as change management and test case generation techniques
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools
- Strong collaboration skills with Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Project Managers, and Application Developers across various locations
- Understanding of data masking methodologies, knowledge of Meta Data Management tools is a plus
- Exposure to Automation Testing and related technologies is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet business demands
- Well-developed problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Define the test process, including necessary test activities, deliverables, and schedule
- Assess how changes affect both upstream and downstream workflows, inclusive of various front-end and back-end architectural modules
- Develop smoke, functional, and regression test suites for GUI Front End and Database back-end
- Document, maintain, and monitor software issues
- Recommend strategies and methodologies to enhance test plans and processes
- Collaborate closely with both onsite and offshore team members as part of the scrum team
- Define test data conditions and work closely with the Data team to acquire the data
- Actively engage in all testing phases, including in-sprint functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing
- Conduct business requirement analysis, test design, and defect logging and tracking
- Participate in defect reporting and triaging
- Adhere to our organizations Quality Engineering best practices
