Requirements
Must:
- Solid knowledge and coding experience in Python/Java for test case automation in post-trade back office and trade flows
- Proficient in SQL to construct complex queries
- Extensive hands-on experience in enhancing frameworks and programmatically creating new automation scenarios using Python or Java
- 5-7 years of experience in software development or automation framework design using Python/Java
- 2+ years of experience developing test automation scripts for post-trade Fixed Income Capital Markets data lineage
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks
- Proficient in Core Java/Python or similar languages along with automation testing tools for backend, frontend, and web service API tests
- 5+ years of professional experience working with datasets, advanced scripting, and SQL
- Previous experience as a Quality Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test within agile/scrum teams, frequently delivering features
- Capability to comprehend complex data flows among various internal and external systems
- Proven ability to identify and report risks and issues
- In-depth knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivatives Back Office Testing, particularly in Capital Markets
Responsibilities
- Engage in ongoing discussions with Development Teams to review upcoming stories, new feature requirements, and story point automation efforts while participating in testing as necessary
- Input test plans and scenarios into Xray and convert these scenarios into automation
- Conduct Impact Assessments for all business requirements and any modifications, ensuring proper vetting of requirements
- Maintain relevant test documentation (test plan, test cases, test data automation scripts) according to the business requirements or change requests
- Participate in code reviews and oversee pull requests, contributing to future CI/CD implementations, execution, and reporting
